Interesting. What virtualization is this?
OpenVZ i think
They claim to not oversell, so I don't understand the logic for using OpenVZ if that's the case.
We using OpenVZ.
Why? Because (for VPS with low RAM) this have a best IO performance.
Check this topic: http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/59215/best-virtualization-type-for-high-storage-vps
More people asked for KVM. Thats the point of a poll not to get reasons to get demands.
These people can find many other providers which offer KVM based solution.
We choosen between Xen (PV or HVM), and OpenVZ. Now we choosed OpenVZ, but in the future (as we see how thinks will be going) we can switch to Xen. Not hard to convert OpenVZ to Xen VPS.
Tell me where in Hungary I can get a KVM storage deal that matches this. Or anywhere in Europe? I know ZXHost and thats it pretty much.
I have some difficulty trying to believe this. I'm sure you also know that (among other benefits) full virtualization provides much better data security and isolation, since this is an storage offer.
But whatever, let's not derail the topic any further.
It says no overbooking, not no overselling. ::D
Overbooking and overselling as asynonym, not?
By tha way: with this product, we don't sell more capacity, than the node have.
You offer KVM or Xen? few months ago. I has two VPS with you before. Now downgrade offers to OpenVZ, just curious
We have OpenVZ and Xen based products. But this is a totally new kind of product.
i joined the club, lets hope for good times
Nice offer, but I'm a bit worried about traffic limits...
These limits are not a hard limits. We don't suspend VPS automatically (and this right all of our VPS plans) when you reach the limit.
Yeah, but we all know how 256MB RAM on KVM works, especially me and you Tom
Damn i want to buy the SSD plan but i missed the blackfriday 50%
