The only direct link to your site/offer is the Order link on VirtIO1... and that's down....

And your speed test... is down...

Should double check these things before posting an offer/promotion. Every other link works though.

Seems the link you used in your promo doesn't exist on virt.io but rather https://secure.sysadmin.co.uk/billing/clientarea.php , the client area of "James Hadley" which may be confusing to some people wanting to purchase from Virt.IO , though the 100mb test doesn't seem to work from either servers.

  • @kbeezie I think @jhadley is hosting his websites over at EuroVPS at the moment.

Feel free to ping my Virt.io box - 91.227.221.125

Ping from AZ ~130ms (not bd), from Hetzner 19ms
    100mb download to AZ ~ 2MB/sec, to Hetzner ~ 7MB/sec

Not bad, though James should still probably correct the links and double check his own 100mb :P. My guess is he only redirected /billing/ but didn't create a rewrite rule to catch everything after the billing folder.

Sorry, I'm not doing very well! Updates being made now..

  • It's a CDN, but the servers are only located in the UK?
Do you have a node in NL? I need something for a new OpenCart store...

You can spam me with any yearly shared hosting deal.

The hosting itself is in the UK. There are CDN nodes all over the EU, USA and further afield as well. There are a few in NL.

  • So if I use your services, I will ping to a server located in NL?

Ping static.openbill.co.uk and see where it goes :)

  • Nice, the CDN works automagically?
How much would I need for a fashion opencart shop, 100 uniques daily and about 200 SKUs? I now this is a fucked up question... Why am I even asking this :D

Could you make me a price for the 512 MB RAM with around 5-7GB SSD?

    @ztec said: automagically

Whatever that means :P But yes it does. It works with a CNAME and then the network directs to the correct A record.

It would depend on traffic, but probably what you suggested yourself or even less if you ran an optimised environment. Opencart is quite efficient (substantially so compared to Magento).

    512MB RAM / 5GB disk for £6
    or 6GB disk for £7
    or 7GB disk for £8

I saw cPanel using it in their scripts and liked the ''word'' :P

Alright let's test your service :)

OK, PM me which plan you'd like to go for and I'll create a package :)
