    Minimal I/O load torrent config?

Hi there, I hope that this is still within the boundaries of what can be discussed here.

Many times torrent-allowing VPS hosters claim that it is okay to use torrent as long as the IO doesn't get abused.

What would be a config for minimal load? Cache as much as possible in RAM and minimize number of allowed simultaneous connections?
Any recommendations about the client itself and its specific configuration?

    Thanks!

Set the client to pre allocate, that's the usual issue.

Had enough of the scams on lowendbox, lowendtalk is now being infiltrated by corruption so I have chosen to make an low end exit #lexit for now - you can find me HERE

    • isn't it primarily fast download speed that causes high hard drive load?

ヽ(`Д´)ノ Everyone should run Tor on their idle servers.

    • Limit max down and upload speed and that should do it.
