[WTB] 2x 196MB-256MB RAM, 2-5GB HDD VPS in UK, NL or DE
Hello Guys,
I am looking for idealy a UK providor which has been in business for several years which has a very reliable network uptime to replace some of VPS which are used for my DNS servers.
The minimum specs I am looking for are as follows:
XEN, KVM or OpenVZ 196 MB RAM + 196MB swap/vswap/burst (depening on virtulization used) 2 GB HDD (min) 20 GB BW (min)
Idealy I would like the following..
XEN or KVM 256 MB RAM 5GB HDD 40GB BW
I will require two of these VPS's idealy from two different providors and or different physcial locations.
The main key behind everything is reliably on the hardware and the network as these will be used for DNSSEC enabled DNS servers.
If you have any offers of around these specs (specs low to keep costs down) with a reliable network with nodes in either UK, NL or even DE, I would very much like to hear from you.
Thanks for reading.
Kind Regards.

SpeedyBus, would you mind sending me a quick test IP so I can do some traceroutes etc as you seem to be protected/hidden under cloudflare Thank you
Thanks Radi for the offer but US is no good as most of my DNS traffic is UK based and UK, NL and DE offers the best latency overall to my users.
PM'd
AlexBarakov, you didn't mention what specs, only where. Care to fill me in more as well as any speed test urls or IP's I can quickly trace to. Thank you in advance.

Try your luck, you could be one of the 25th, too bad I'm not
@AnthonySmith
Thank you.
@AnthonySmith special LHK MiniKVM 256 offer is still valid I guess.
OnePoundWebHosting UK XenPV yearly offers http://xen-servers.com/yearly-pv.php, LG
Ckeck ServersNV UK offers too.
Thanks Bersy. Checking them all out
Got to dash for a little while but will be back in an hr to recheck on offers and what not as I idealy like to get this all wrapped up tonight so I can start the building of the new cluster.
Thanks again everyone whos already offers and posted.
Thank you also sorry didnt see your post, I guess im so used to reading backwards up hehe. Will go over them all throughly in about an hr.
Thank you everyone for all the offers. Earlier today I purchased one from @SpeedBus which is located in DE. I must admit the provisioning didn't go too smooth due to SolusVM bugs but @SpeedBus was very prompt to fix the issues. It wasn't his/ISP's fault, its just the usual bugs in SolusVM which still hasnt been fully fixed after years.
I am so far very impressed with the performance of the little machine including network routes to all over the globe.
Again thank you @SpeedBus for getting all issues resolved and I hope to be with you for many years to come.
I end with, I am still looking for one more providor idealy in NL else UK, so if anyone has a deal within these countries, please drop me a line. Thank you.
@AnthonySmith, if you still have that offer on little happy with a static IPv4, I would be very pleased to hear from you. Thank you.
OpenVz 100 mbps at Germany € 8.99 / month
Thanks DiggDigital for the offer but idealy I am looking for KVM/XEN/VMWare due to custom kernels/network tweaks etc.
I also have just purchased an awesome DE server from @SpeedBus the other day. Will update first post and cross out DE.
Correction, seems I can't
So for anyone following this thread still, I am still on the lookout for a LEB of around 196-256MB RAM, 2-5GB HDD, 40GB BW in NL, UK (Newcastle, Nottingham are prefered areas due to have servers in London and Madienhead already). I also require a single IPv4+IPv6 with rDNS either done via ticket or automatic, either is fine it wont be changed oftern/if not at all after initial setup.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you @Patrick for giving me a nice offer via PM which as been accepted. Waiting manual setup & invoice.
No further VPS are required at this time but if there are issues with orders I will update this thread.
Again to everyone, thank you very much for posting your offers.
As has been mentioned above, OnePoundWebHosting is good choice as for tiny UK Xen VPS. RAMHost TinyKVM is still available I guess http://tinykvm.com.
NL http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/56592/serveo-nl-kvm-amsterdam-cloud-vps-512-mb-ssd-only-24-00-y
Thanks again @bersy.
I did have a look at the original links above but around the same time I recieved a very nice offer from @Patrick for an ISP called Iniz which one of their locations is AMS in NL which overall was better then the other offers.
I must admit his network and this node here is very good so a big thank you to @Patrick as its exceded my expectations in performance. I hope to be with you for many years to come. If I get time soon in a week or so when work quietens down, will see if I can knock up a quick review of these two ISP's for people as so far they both seem very good.
Again thanks @bersy for the extra URL's as I am making a little document as I may/should be in need of some more slightly larger, reliables VM's in the very near future for future projects.
I must say I do also like the deal with serveo that you just posted, looks like I may go early shopping
Best Regards
