Looking for a new dedicated server

Hi all -

Currently have the SYS-IP-1 at SoYouStart, but I'm paying more than enough (for me) for what I need. I'm only currently using ~3G of ram and really don't need the whole 16gb.
I'm looking for a new dedicated server. The most important things I'm looking for is

  • Reputable provider
  • Good network
  • >6G ram

My budget is under £30/m, preferably in the EU.

Thanks!

I don't need more than one IPv4, but the option would be good. In other words, not required, but better if there's an option.

Have a look at our Dedicated Servers Sale (London) https://www.clouvider.co.uk/dedicated-servers-sale

If you stretc your budget to £40 /mo I could do the I3 server with 8 GB of memory.

Please do :) Would be a big help. Is it possible that you could PM me an IP so I could ping test?

Are these under your SiFuQu brand?

The x3470's and E3-1220 are hardware that I own.

  • @Yoda : We also have an iperf server, as well as some test files available at http://ping.online.net

I visited their robot auctions a few days back and frankly it was really disappointing, I think they are lagging behind regarding pricing since you can get good servers in france for half the money you pay hezner for comparable computing power and specs.

  • @Maounique I have noticed that over the past about month they have actually started bringing their prices up on the auction, probably because they sold out of the extra i7-2600's they had extra stock of and are once again back to recouping on churn. For a while there you could get an i7-2600, 16GB RAM, 2x3TB for a mere 28-29EUR which is pretty cheap considering they give you 20TB bandwidth and all that storage. However, more recently its back about 30EUR and some of the larger systems have also gone up in price reasonably. So, as I said, they likely sold out of their overflow and are back to just offering the servers that come up from churn and trying to make a bit more money off it.

    my 2 cents.

    Cheers!
