Webserver Benchmark
Hello Everyone, I'am a web developer with some basic network administration skills, I would like to know what would be the best way or ways to benchmark/monitor a server.
Ram, CPU, PHP, PHP ERRORS, LOGS, ETC...
The idea is to understand what I have and how much would I need to scale the server on the amount of traffic I have or will have.
At the same time optmize everything I can, I'm a bit paranoid PHP programmer and I like to keep things organized and stable.

for simple benchmarking you can use theses
test download speeds + I/O disk speed
test upload speed
test CPU

Edit: just saw your furthest update. You can use ab (apache bench) which is part of apache-tools I think to test how many hits, concurrent connections, etc. your server/script can handle
I use loader.io and do the Maintain Users test, the free test will allow you to test 0 to 250 visitors maintaining load for 1 minute.
