Need a VPS
I'm in need of a VPS for a Gameserver, I already have a VPS in the EU (Italy) with a Gameserver, but we want to expand to the USA or somewhere in that region
I'm in need of the following:
1 core at atleast 2.5ghz or more
1GB Ram
20GB HDD
1.5TB Traffic @ 50mb or more
LEB Price ofcourse
Needs to be Stable, no network lag
If someone got a good offer, please PM me
Comments
any preferable USA location?
Around New York and Scranton
If OpenVZ is alright - check the offers I posted up yesterday.
We can do this at our New Jersey location but drives are SSD powered so higher cost.
Skip Scranton. There is only one company everyone knows there.
Look for offers out of Choopa in New Jersey. Real close to New York City and main exchanges.
Not enough traffic... Need atleast 1TB, but i prefer 1.5TB (Yep, that's what the Gameserver in Italy is using monthly)
BuyVM in Buffalo, New York is also a good consideration. Low latency to NYC and main exchanges.
See @24khost. They ran specials recently out of Choopa.
If our network meets the criteria, i'll sell this for $7.
BuyVM can do anything.
BudgetVM? Their $4.99 plan seems to be ok, connected at a 1gbit port with 3TB bandwidth. Chicago is their location closest to Scranton (don't quote me on that, my US geography isn't great). CPU is 2ghz but you get 4 cores.
We have a plan that will work for you 2 cores at least 2.5 ghz and with can give 2000 tb bandwidth email me at [email protected]
@24khost That's hella good offer!
sorry meant to type gb.
@joodle Well, I have an excess of RAM and and bandwidth, could do it for $4
What kind of gameserver?
http://www.lowendbox.com/blog/end-of-reality-40year-1024mb-openvz-in-chicago-dallas-usa/
We have decided to take a VPS from BudgetVM, StormVZ offered us a really nice VPS, but that had not enough space (SSD Space cost too much, and we don't really need it)
Good luck.. hope you read some of the reviews on them first.
lol no love for Denver
Good luck
BudgetVM? They aren't anywhere near Scranton or NYC.
Closest location is umm Chicago....
what kind of gameserver uses 1.5TB a month?
Call of duty 4 Gameserver wich has 40+ people online at the same time every day
I think OP may have mistyped 'seedbox'
Nope, didnt.
please report back with how budgetvm works out for you
Me want to know too. I am about to put that box in production, might as well have a second reference.
Well, right now i got 2 gameservers running on it, and had no lag yet, and it's stable
