OpenVPN assign public ip directly to client

How can this be achieved, i basically want to assign the public ip directly so i dont get an internal ip like 10.8.x.x

Or do you also try to push incoming traffic to your VPN server directly to your client?

No that is not nessecary but id rather not use bridging.

Well, I don't see any other solution then as this is the way OpenVPN is designed to work.
Do you need it only for proxying?
