Or you can run HTTPS on your website - if the target site doesn't, they get no referrer.
https should not be sending referrers to even the same origin, much less any other domains.
In firefox type 'about:config' in your URL bar.
Search for referrer and change 'network.http.sendRefererHeader; 2'
To 'network.http.sendRefererHeader; 0'
I think this is what you're asking for
HTTPS will send referrers to other HTTPS URLs, no matter which domain they are on.
but not to HTTP URLs.
