Is there a script for a low-end mail server?
Hi! Does anyone know of a working bash (or any other language) script that will install a full mail server on my low end box? I know there's plenty for web server stacks, but I'm having a hard time finding one for mail servers. All I want is a simple mail server that I can use with my domain, and optionally, a webmail interface.
It would be preferred if the distribution the script is written for was Debian/Ubuntu.
Thanks guys!

Anyone using the tuxmail script and how well did it go?
Lacks a web-based email front end for reading in browser What did folks use to accomplish that part?
Love the concept behind this script and many of the rest. Pretty neat and active community here.

Thunderbird.
Thunderbird is a desktop app. That isn't webmail :)

I guess there's no harm in using Afterlogic or Roundcube on a regular old web server?

Roundcube has been on my shortlist, when and if I could get through the 20 packages and best practice to setting up a mail server without turning into a relay or being blocked to death due to overlooking something :)
Mail continues to be a PITA. So scripts like these could be the enabler lots of folks need to running their own mail setup.

If you're worried about that, then disable SMTP and send mail via Mandrill. It literally takes a couple seconds to set up the DNS to allow Mandrill to send on behalf of you. Unless you're sending an absurd number of personal emails, it'll also be free too :)

I'm unable to make it working. I get a bunch of errors here and there. It's an early stage developed script.
Ditto, TuxMail script seems broken under Debian 6 Testing branch.
Installs, but permissions and such seem hosed. Created accounts cannot connect via SMTP, POP3, IMAP.
