This is not a review but, it is a quick pat on the back to HostUs. Back in January, I purchased their $18/quarter deal for use as a mail server. In terms of resources, it was overkill but the price was right. I just moved my mail server to one of the $35/yr instances and will be rebuilding the first server to host some sites.
Before I rebuild, I just wanted to note the uptime:
152 days, 10 hours, 09 minutes
I almost forget that this is out there because I don't worry about it being up.

152 days isn't that much, got 300+ on a $5/yr GVH box.

That was the least of GVH's problems.
I have 3 servers in hostus ($10/year), used to vpn.
Great uptime, ticket responses quickly and low price.

That did happen ~3 months ago. At time I simply reinstalled the VPS as till that time it was idle
Maybe not a huge amount but, the only reason it's not more is because I am doing a reinstall myself. Nonetheless, I was was happy to see that, for a box that only costs a few bucks per month, I was getting such a good value for the money spent.
Service seems pretty solid, no node downtime I remember but I have noticed some network blips, there were more before I started tracking.

Thanks very much for your feedback and opinions, it really does mean alot to Andrew and myself that we can provide an awesome service.
@mikeyur I'll have a look at they time slots, 1.25 hours downtime would seem more a node issue rather than network as I don't recall any network outages longer than 1-2 minutes this year.

@AlexanderM Was just assuming, haven't taken a close look and pretty sure I've restarted my VM since. I think there was some network downtime last year due to DDoS on the same node or in the same rack?
They offer a solid VPS for a good price, I've got nothing to complain about.
I like them too. They have been very accommodating
