  • Ouch, either abuse, degraded array or they are rebuilding?

  • What virtualization platform is the one you are running on?

    I don't know, I opened a ticket and told me to rebuild my VPS. Why?!

    @marcm Xen PV

  • @netomx Looks like they have a ton of people on RAID1 or worse, a single drive. Just guessing as there are not many I/O settings that you can mess with for Xen and I don't know who would rebuild a life RAID-10 array (in case they have that). My guess is as good as yours, I don't know. I would just ask them, see what they say.

    I sent another ticket, and guess what?

    @netomx That looks like RAID-10 :D

    Do a couple dd tests one after another, then do a couple 5 minutes apart and post the results. If you have the time and patience of course :)
