  • Ordered mks2g for seeding some Linux distribution, bw is cheap and 100mbit port is good. Deluged here we go :-)

Don't like the idea of a weeks wait, maybe I'll be lucky and get it within 24 hours like some have.

  • Are all the mKs2G 4 core?

  • @FluX said: Are all the mKs2G 4 core?

    None are four core.

Some are 4-core and you get one of those if you are really lucky, but wtf are you even asking such a question if specs for that plan clearly say: "Cores: 1"? You get 1 core, beyond that they don't guarantee anything.

Can't order from UK & IE as my country not listed in there.
So, i must use their FR site and when asking some question, i will need to write in french?

I will not ask much question. I will only need to exclude VAT from the invoice

    root@ks3264804:/proc#

Why are you running the benchmark script while in /proc?
It tries to make a test file with dd in the current directory.

  • Does it always come with vat, or only for European residents?

  • Got my SP 32G today (ordered last night). Not quite an E3-1245 but the 3770 seems to benchmark higher so going to hope for the best that I don't get bitten in the ass by a desktop cpu!

Used the .co.uk address. I may order another just for fun as I have enough credits.

  • they sent me "yea we got your money" mail, but nothing more...

i paid via paypal, and there is no invoice or service in OVH manager

is it what it should be ?

Thats pretty much it generally. The next email you will get is an 'installation of your dedicated server' message.

I just ordered another and didnt get any emails!

  • When I tried to pay via paypal it was going to do a IBT, So I just paid via my Barclays account; if it was going to do it anyway, rather have control through my own payment than PayPal.

Did anybody have any luck getting it to pay via PayPal account balance?

Took ~18 hours for my setup.
