German Shared Webhosting

Hello guys,

can somebody recommend a german webhosting company for one domain, with low traffic.
Shared hosting, cpanel, plesk is OK.
PHP, MySQL, cheap SSL, 1domain

Budget 8-10€.

Thanks.

They only have nodes in LU here in Europe. Near Germany, that's for sure.

  • buyShared if close to Germany will do.

I think either @linuxthefish or @mikho offers shared hosting in Germany

There are not many good providers in terms of webhosting in Germany.

I would have a look into:

    netcup.de

    ip-projects.de

    webgo24.de

    all-inkl.com

  • Webhosting for developers: uberspace.de

German companys think they get spied upon by others if they don't host in Germany.

And yet their own agencies are being investigated for spying on their own people :P

Anyway, my post was mostly to make a jab at the people that kept thinking we were in Germany, not in the country of Luxembourg.

You might try https://www.webhostone.de , using them since a few years - great service!
https://www.df.eu/de/webhosting/my-home-plus/ might ne worth a try too and also Hetzner has some nice shared hosting plans.
Each of them should be well below you budget.
There are some more (quite small) providers I found working quite well with lower prices, but these are all "unknown" companies....

yes, especially after the methods of the German secret service to distinguish Germans from others were uncovered ("not a *.de email address - must be foreign").

Some/many also don't see why they should support companies from the "five eyes", which ultimately supports mass surveillance (taxes).

I,too am glad to be able to vote with my money and moved all my servers/domains/etc. to Germany. Of course I also encrypted all connections to death in the process.

DF (domainfactory) asked me to print, sign and mail them a contract for a ~1EUR/month service. Hetzner demands an ID scan. Ludicrous in my humble opinion.

As far as I know most people over here won't recommend them at all.

Oh, thats strange...never had to do so! Maybe they setup some special requirements if doing business from outside of Germany / the EU? No idea...
