Who else have issues with RunAbove after VENOM patch?

I am very tired of the problems with RunAbove.

I have similar issues with them last 2 weeks or more.

Who else have the same issues like below:

  1. Errors when rebooting instance
  2. Errors when rebuilding instance
  3. Error when you make first instance
  4. Errors with you tring to connect (firewall is clear (ingress all other proto))
  5. Instance destroed, Error status at instance (data loss)
  6. Errors with rebuilding instance from the snapshop
  7. Errors with their control panel
  8. Errors with their website / control panel https certificate
  9. Very slow control panel (depends on the day time)
  10. Errors with increased latency.

Sure, their support answer quick, and saing "bla bla, anything looks good for right now", but then you have issues again and again.

My mini-review in few words:
1. Until 20 may 2015 RunAbove was have very good services for me.
2. After 20 may 2015 RunAbove start to be a big piece of shit (just for me)

Guys, anyone have issues with runabove after 20 may? Who else? Let me know.

    Now I Moved my Website to OVH Cloud, Same Runabove servers. I got no issues till now :)

    Personally I just don't need to "reboot/rebuild/snapshot/make instances". I just treat it as a regular VPS provider, my only instance there is currently up for 81 days. And it works well.

    I got it for 3euro for my website through credit card :)

    Looks great but I will wait until it's available in their Canada datacenter...roadmap says Summer 2015 so hopefully it happens.

    How come when I use runabove a lot of ports won't work?
    Especially DNS.

    $3m/o for 2GB ram + 1 vCPU is a fairly good price. Performance i good. so I'd like to use this for DNS + Offsite Monitoring. but given the ports not working I gave up.

    Have you opened them in the firewall?

    Yep you need to open the ports you need in the security settings in their panel.

    Yea...I host it on the France One...If you need Canada one try RunAbove

    Sure I think he did, those from countries without a local OVH branch can create and use accounts at the French OVH. For example I am in Russia signed up for this cloud offer without any issue too, via my ancient OVH FR account created back in 2011.

    Used French firefox + OVH proxy to only find out they took off their subsidaries from their countries list :-/
