I'm looking for a cheap Asia vps with low spec

Hello folks,

I'm looking for a cheap Asia vps with low spec for personal VPN. I'm looking for 128M ram, whatever the HDD is, and more than 100GB bandwidth per month. My budget is about $15~20/year and prefer location from South Korea, Japan or Singapore, is it possible? Thanks.

    Hi,

Is Siberia considered 'Asia' for you? Novosibirsk is geographically located in Asia. We will have to discuss pricing though, as $20 USD per year is very low, considering the cost of an IP /bandwidth itself.

    Approx latency:

    KDDI Japan - 80ms / NTT Japan - 145ms

    CT/CU BJ - 110ms

    HK PCCW - 132ms

    South Korea KT - 187ms

    Singtel Singapore - 169ms

AFAIK, beside LES Japan, not possible.

When they first launched, ExpertVM was the cheapest VPS you could find in Asia with their $40/year plan. http://www.expertvm.com/

It's twice your budget but short of going for LES, that's about the price point you're going to find yourself at in Asia.

  • "cheap" would be something you can hardly find in Asia compared with other major parts of the world. even if you do, connection speeds/bandwidth will be quite unbearable.

I'm current using OAH(One Asia Host) for more than one years and want to add another node and want to try if there's a cheaper one. OAH cost me $12/season so it's about $48/year.

May I have an IP address for testing?

Not that I know of. However if you google "lowendspirit japan test IP" I'm sure you will find what you need.
