Default said "Onboard Sata Controller" which I assume is just SW raid. HW raid needs the raid card which was $25 extra a month.

btw the $20 server is back..

@Ruriko: These servers come (on an average of once a day) but do go a lot quicker. You have to be fast. Visit the page very often

Most definitely support is helpful, Steven is awesome. Had a little issue with the server not responding to the provisioning tool, they fixed it and re-installed the OS I wanted for me.

  • yomeroyomero Member

well, the servers are just flying away and I still don't get one u_u

  • Long long ago (around 2 or 3 years) I tried their servers for a minecraft server.

CPU (don't remeber wich one ) and Storage (SAS) and RAM (16GB) for 30 dollars was a good offer that year.

Everything was fine, performance good. But the little problem what internet speed.

Not really good at all (UP not good - DOWN kind of).

I recomend their servers but not for games unless they don't a lot of UP - DOWN internet speed ;)

anyone have the ip subnet of 216.126..?

I have two server, one dell is 216.126.. and another 5150 is 199.191.., the network performance 216.126.. is much worse than 199.191.., I have made many tests within the two servers at the same time, the network speed of dell server is much worse than 5150, especially when wget the files which outside the USA, for example, from 5150 wget linode japan, always 10M/s, but from dell, only 500K/s, I have made many tests, all are same results, it's so strange :(

    From 5150

I need an IP in order to test a simple ping .... if it is better I will give you one more chance.

Downloading from Linode Japan gives me 130KB/s max. Probably not a nice choice for Asian users.
