Every time I see them I question if they are real.
As long as they look older than 12.

Real, stock photos just make the company look insincere.
Goes with that photo...
Are those shiny servers yours?
From time to time I think everyone asks themselves "How does one win an internet forum thread?"
My friends, this is how.
Those are ones in fiberhub since the lighting is pretty terrible over our cage. There's some pictures floating around from minerack, though!
Francisco
As long as you don't force your staff to post their photos. For some of us the life is bigger than just the workplace, and with the workplace being a fairly minor part of it, it doesn't get to dictate whether or not we want to have pictures of ourselves posted publicly next to our real names on the Internet.
@Francisco - nice but not a good idea for B2B
@rm_ - I agree completely on that point
Another reason to use any of Frantech products!
Could you ever see Aldryic or I putting on a tie and trying to be all business? Pfffft.
If someone will take offense to us having a little fun on our websites then oh well.
Francisco
Well Francisco your about page is so far the best one ....................... (Y)
I have one online for my company, if i would be just employed i would decline it - I even asked to not be included on Facebook photos on EDIS meetups/parties.
some time ago, I forgot when, I was thinking just like you, then some corporate evil bought my soul.
Now I am just like @william ...
Thanks for sharing ( your belly ) .
You should probably see a doctor before it's too late then :P
Francisco
As I consumer, I like to see clear value for my $. For your staff pics, I couldn't care less.
That's... interesting
PORN! Just look at that sexy stripper routine!
@Francisco I love the ' You can expect to meet Aldryic in support, or if you're unlucky, in our abuse department. ' part.
Don't really care about pics. I'd rather like individual email addresses for each employee in some cases.
I would like to see the office/working place that the provider is using. It would be a plus to have infos about the personell or bio of the owners.
@jvnadr you are a journalist, right? So do your own research and find the owners and their biographies yourself
If it's beautiful girl, then yes. Every time I open livechat, and see a beautiful girl avatar, I know I'm going to lose money.
Haha. believe me, I do! And mostly out of my proffession's perversion! (BTW, why Chris Fabozzi kicked out of "2 and a Half Men"? His new show, Agner Management, is not so good...)
As a consumer I want to see who & what I am dealing with. For small companies (i.e. not Amazon or Digital Ocean) first things would be basics like address, company number etc. Without these basics I'm not buying.
Then a short bio on the director/owner and photos helps a lot, in building trust. Employees such as support staff is not expected or important.
I particularly like the buyvm example posted above! However, also for example, the professional posts NickA makes here, made it easier to order from Ramnode.

Looks great!
I personally like to know, whom I am speaking to.. and if website has their staff pics, it appears to be more realistic and comfortable.
