Windows Azure DDos protection

I haven't been able to find any information on it other than it can handle anything which is vague and not really helpful. Anyone have any information on details of what it can actually protect from and its limits?

Azure's China Mainland version (running by 世纪互联) have some DDoS protection, according to https://www.v2ex.com/t/161716

But int'l version... I want to know about this too.
