Finally Buy a low budget vps(for vpn) from ipxcore but stuck with error unable to install
I try using this tutorial http://board.prometeus.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=824&sid=3d9e2bd00a9460365b1ed17949bdfd92
and error facing:
Welcome to Ubuntu! * Documentation: https://help.ubuntu.com/ Last login: Thu Sep 20 23:03:19 2012 from fip1c249.banglalionwimax.com root@info:~# dpkg -i open* (Reading database ... 21722 files and directories currently installed.) Setting up openvpn-as (1.8.4-Ubuntu10) ... Automatic configuration failed, see /usr/local/openvpn_as/init.log You can configure manually using the /usr/local/openvpn_as/bin/ovpn-init tool.
do you know any link/bash script to setup vpn in ipxcore vps?
Comments
Did you check /usr/local/openvpn_as/init.log like it tells you to? It's probably just something simple.
Uh, you tried to RUN that file? It's not an executable, it's a log file. Use less or nano to read it.
use cat /SOURCE/file.extension
Initial Configuration Tool

Access Server will not be able to activate a license key on this host.
Please see http://www.openvpn.net/access-server/rd/liman-id-failed.html
You're trying to install the paid version of OpenVPN, not the community version.
Use this: http://openvpn.net/index.php/download/community-downloads.html
i use this http://openvpn.net/index.php/access-server/download-openvpn-as-sw/113.html?osfamily=Ubuntu
http://swupdate.openvpn.org/as/openvpn-as-1.8.4-Ubuntu10.i386.deb
Again, what I'm saying is that you're using the Access Server, which is OpenVPN's "Enterprise level" VPN Servers which requires a PAID SUBSCRIPTION.
but in your i am not find any .deb file link.sorry that i am not too experienced.

There you go. I believe those Instructions use the repos.
@raihan0888 / if you get stuck or not able to get it working / we can give you a 30 day free trial of our Global VPN Service / check your inbox.
Or if you just want to use us as a backup
Cheers,
Dave
I'm not sure if that 32mb VPS would be enough for an access server setup. You may instead try to setup VPN using some other tutorial like http://library.linode.com/networking/openvpn
By the way, IPXCore have auto installer for OpenVPN (if you are looking for something like that)

This will work without an issue.

OpenVPN Access Server can be used freely AFAIK but limited to 2 users that online at the same time.
I have installed OpenVPN-AS on my debian, and indeed it needs RAM around 50 MB.
This will work without an issue.

its worked.not browsing and watching from that vps ip thanks @ipxcore for giving us that type of vps
