After how long the VPS offer threads are set to "sink"?
I have read http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/15263/lowendtalk-rules-and-guidelines but it does not say when VPS offer threads are set to "sink" at LET.Does anyone know?
Comments
They should be sinking immediately and automatically.
@rds100 Why?Do you know the reason behind it? and why they dont say anything about this at http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/15263/lowendtalk-rules-and-guidelines
Can anyone from The team please answer? @mpkossen @Spirit @jcaleb @mikho
Wow. Team Tag Spree. ;-)
Most people here (like myself) do not want to see a dozen offers on the frontpage. Anyone of us can click http://www.lowendtalk.com/categories/offers (on the right side, "Categories") and has a great overview anyway.
While offers are nice and appreciated, the site is still called LowEndTalk, not LowEndOffers... ;-)
I dont think the offer threads sink immediately and automatically.See @5n1p Comment at http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/235835/#Comment_235835 I have also seen some offer threads that did not sink immediately and automatically in the past.
That depends on whether it is a ColoCrossing provider or not. ;-))

Threads posted in the Offers category is set to sink when you click the "post thread" button.
The shared/reseller category is not, only because the plugin used only handles one category. This is on the TODO list to fix so that threads are set to sink when posted.
As of now we (mods/admins) have to set threads in shared/reseller to sink manually. Thats also the reason why it sometimes comes back to the front page. We are only humans and sometimes miss the post.
