But you have made it responsive. That is not good design.
WP is only bloated if you make it bloated..
No it's not. WP is a framework and a procedural one for that matter. Much lighter that say, Symfony. As @pcfreak30 said, it's what you make with it that can be bloated.
If you want offers from Developers, the best option is to post your need at freelance.com or elance.com or odesk.com you will not find in this forum many developers.

@Benjamin: I think WP itself is quite secure, it even has auto update. It's mostly the plugins that have exploits..
