What domain ending do you prefer?

Not for hosting purposes but just in general, as I am bringing some gameservers online and debating if I should use .org or .info (.com and .net were taken). Info would be $4 at Name.com with a free privacy coupon, but I understand some people think .info's are ugly and such.

If it's out of .org or .info only then I'd go to .org but for gameservers it doesn't seem too suitable, but meh.. Are you open to other extensions?
Sure, I can always put more in Paypal (I have $8 in my student account but I can put in more).
Personally would try get a .com / .net as it's the best for SEO / "Looks". Think of another to be honest, especially if it's for business.
http://www.nameboy.com - Might help you think of a good name
With the availability I would also go for .org even though it doesn't fit in.
.info? Never. .org if I am running a non profit, why not.
In the end the tld is quite out of interest today. As soon as a site is bookmarked or accessed via $searchengine or $app it can even be a sub-sub-domain of some dyndns-service. SEO is also more a matter in catching the lighty users. Enthusiasts will find your content, follow links and spread the url. It all depends on the content.

.net personally, .com never grew on me.
How about .me? I almost never heard about this kind of TLD...
.me is for Montenegro, but people usually buy it for our own ME
It's still expensive tough
But if we are looking cheaper domain, we can compare it with InternetBS
Are you in the USA? I like .us, but it never got very popular. Beats .info

I agree with the "expensive" part.. Hehehe..
I think .me and .im is a good domain, but never be told..
I grab up .cc for domains I plan on keeping. 3 character TLDs (5 with extension) FTW!
@Kujoe, what is .cc for?
I don't know what it means
LOL CO.CC is free, if you are cheap.
co.cc is not a tld
oh yeah. lol .info is cheap. for business it is best to use .com .net
.me TLD on crazydomains is only $6?

It's the country code for the Cocos (Keeling) Islands. All I know is I'm only paying $18.99/year for my initials (jmd.cc).
.xxx
I have a .XXX. They are quite expensive...
Never use anything else but .com or .net for DNS servers. Trust me on this one, and I'm sure others will agree as well.
@vpsnodebox Why is that?
@emilv
Look at the Parent Nameservers at the top here: http://leafdns.com/index.cgi?testid=F4334038&lock
And now look here for .org: http://leafdns.com/index.cgi?testid=A6A22778&lock
Same thing happens to name servers as well. The parent nameservers for .org domains are like 6, while for .com and .net are like 13.
We have our own DNS network with 7 servers, so we've learned a thing or two about what to do and what not to do
I prefer to stick with .com, .net or even .ca.
For non-profit type websites we build usually go with .org
People hate on .TK but its a TLD.
thanks....

If you are talking about root-nameservers, well then you should consider
.de
. ATM they have 17 root-nameservers and are setting up new ones every year.
