Making decisions on what to use for an affiliate system for something new about to launch today.
What is everyone's thought's on the built-in WHMCS affiliate system? Good to go?

    Its for a service (IPv4Less.com launching later today) that wont be delivered/sold/be available, to shitty customers (partly due to technical and financial cost of entry), so potential for abuse will be low.

    It works and it is pretty decent in that it does what it says it does. That's not the issue though.

    Pesky little feckers will spam forums, send spam by mail and generally shit all over your brand name unless you manage it properly.

    Ahhh, I see - will have to create affiliate rules/terms related to promotion by spam or other 'abusive' or 'nuisance' types then, and maybe also put up an alert on our page that states our stance, for anyone investigating any potential abuse.

    Also make sure you setup google alerts for your brand name and anything specific that could identify your affiliates methods of trying to sell the products. I found that really useful in the past.
