    @HalfEatenPie @fly @stylexnetworks

    1. The server is alway offline. I can receive the monitor emial about offline nearly everyday. i am crazy with 34 offlines last month. And somethimes you need to start the server manually.

    2. The disk is suddently became read-only. I have to restart the system.

    3. The CPU is a liitle weak.

    All and all, not so stable.

    ================

    I guess the only valuable thing is the network is still nice with such a low price.

  • @ErawanArifNugroho

    We recently upgraded our SAN storage, you will notice a a huge improvement in IO speeds. If you are still having issues please contact our technical team and they will assist you further.

    Was this before their OnApp platform with SAN storage?
    You will get usually lower results with every cloud platform with SAN storage with our standard "ioping" and "dd" throughput tests. While I can't say for Stylex Networks as I never tryed them this test won't show you the actual performance of this architecture. The SAN storage of the new platform can be much faster than the old standard platform disregarding what "dd" says.
    Can someone report actual VPS peformance from this offer?

    Thanked by 1ErawanArifNugroho
  • I have the vps when they offer the $0.95/month vps :p

  • Ordered one. Now, what do I use this vps for?

    It's pretty usable now, although I'm not sure if the random reboot issue is fixed or not:

    I guess the random reboot and read-only drive was because SAN storage upgrade

    how is your experience with current vps? recomended? i'm thinking to get one.

  • uptime

    It's been pretty good for me so far. The I/O goes between 85/90+ for the past few days.

    @NanoG6

    We were in the process of upgrading our Hypervisor hardware which required a few reboots. Afterwards we had to transfer over users from the old SAN to the new SAN.

    Are you on their SSD? Or cloud?
    I'm on cloud and getting ~10.9 MB/s. Best I can get is ~20 MB/s, yesterday.
    @stylexnetworks, is this normal?

  • edited August 2012

    @NanoG6

    Contact our support team and one of our technicians will look into this further for you.

    You might also still be on the old SAN and pending transfer.

    Our SSD plans will produce 300+ I/O

    Review blog like 96mb.com

    Hehe, sorry. I was just about configuring it now.
    We have so many options for the OS templates with this offer. Many Linux, Windows and FreeBSD templates.

    But there's some error about the resource I get. I'm ordering the Tiny Cloud VPS, and I got a 10GB disk space instead of 5 GB.

    Tiny Cloud VPS
    128 MB RAM
    5 GB HDD RAID-10 centralized storage
    Disk Space  10 GB

    Hm... I'm planning to run some review in the lebstats.com

    @ErawanArifNugroho

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Tiny plan is supposed to have 6 GB of space. This has been corrected.

    Thanked by 1ErawanArifNugroho
  • I just saw the Windows OS lists in the 128mb package, so I tried to purchase the starter plan because 512mb would be my minimum requirement for running Windows.

    But when I finished the payment and want to start the configuration in the Started package, I saw no Windows lists available. Sent a Ticket, and said that Windows only available at regular package and up.

  • @ErawanArifNugroho

    We recommend at least 1 GB of ram for any windows template. However if you are comfortable with running windows with 512 MB of ram then please contact our support team and they will set this up for you.

  • Thank you. Are you the same person answering my Ticket?

    Because I already have a Windows 2008 running in a 512mb and 1gb vps from another provider without problem.

  • @ErawanArifNugroho

    I am not, I am in charge of marketing and public relations.

    Thanked by 1ErawanArifNugroho
  • My issue has been resolved. Since the beginning I always impressed with the support team prompt response!

  • @stylexnetworks ":this offer will only last for 72 HOURS!"
    so when exactly will it be over?
