not too cheap Lux but the closest is probably https://www.server.lu/virtual-servers
BuyVM maybe? No clue if they have KVM, or accept windows though. @Francisco
Yes and yes
You'd be looking at $10/month.
Francisco
I have bought one from them.
The IP of vps looks like from US location.
I opened a tikict, and no one reply for almost 2 hours
Oh boo hoo, my ticket wasn't answered for 2 hours!
Wait at least a day
or month?
Night coverage is still something we're in the middle of improving. Jessie's shift ends around midnight and Aldryic's shift starts around 4AM - 5AM so there's a few hours where it's bare. We have new workers already hired on, just putting them through training before we let them loose
The IP's are GEO'd to the states for now but we already put in updates to maxmind to address it that.
Francisco
Sounds... unhealthy.
That's my timezone
For Aldryic it's 6AM - 7AM.
As I said, we hired 2 more people and with that we'll have 24/5 coverage with us being on for the weekends but not as...full time I guess. All part of our fully managed offerings
Francisco
I visited server.lu yesterday.Unfortunately, they only have VPS in Linxu.
I want to know that buyvm offering Luxembourg VPS from which city ?
Thanks!
Does it matter? Luxembourg is very very small... just see it on the map.
Yes, it's matter to me
Roost. We're in the facility server.lu owns, RootSA.
Francisco
I see. Root.Lu's datacenter at Steinsel, Luxembourg.
Far as I can tell it's all more or less in the same area, within 10 - 15 miles of eachother As @rds100 said, the country is very small.
I know I sent the servers to Roost, be it they stayed in the Roost facility or their new one I don't know.
Francisco
They're actually at the bottom of the pacific ocean
Underwater datacenter.
