Online.net network-reboot issues?

ZweiTigerZweiTiger Member
edited December 2014 in Help

One of our online.net server got a big issue. SSH is fast > then slow > and etc. Then services like too.

Seems their network has a little problem. We tried to reboot the server but its "Jammed" rescue mode not work.

Seems this is.. pech.

The panel always says "Reboot in progress"

Is there anybody who got the same issue?

Got the issue. With the Main IP cant connect not work , but with the failover IP everything work.

How this could possible? Very interesting. Routing problem i think hm

  • @ZweiTiger
Maybe their crappy firewall? It enables itself if you receive an attack, it will route you through the firewall for some hours after the attack seizes.
The firewall has packet loss all the time, that's what they call "basic ddos protection".
I have issues with the firewall all the time, but I'm also attacked daily, basically renders the service useless as the firewall causes ~30% packet loss and a small attack can trigger it.

  • Apart from being stuck in "Your credentials are being created ... (This may take a few seconds)" for over an hour, mine is fine.

  • Have you ticketed Online.net's support?

Noooo the obvious thing to do is ask on a forum ;)

Absolutly yes. After 1 hour the reboot was done.

Strange.. so next time have to wait or do not reboot :)

Thanks everyone for help. DC3 109mb/s network speed at this time.

  • Online.nets support is hopeless anyway.

Very few understand English. Google translate seems logical. You might as well hit the keyboard as hard as you can and click send. It outputs the same crap google translate does.

    What server do you have?
