Hey LET, I'm Zac. I've actually been browing over this site for quite sometime mainly for advise, reading through meaningfull threads on different providers. I've been in the hosting field for about 6 months now, recently graduated college with a BS in Economics, been hosting a few of my classmates game servers on an older E5520 for awhile so decided to start my own little hosting site to see how it manages. Going to be doing it solo for awhile. I saw some people here use OVH so I decided to go with OVH for my first server a 64GB 3x600GB SAS with 80Go Cached server. Transfered all of my friends website over to the new server also and purchased a yearly cPanel license. I'm looking here to learn a lot as I am still quite new to the hosting business as well as meet some cool new folks on my journey.

We are building a dating app that will have a companion website (a lifestyle destination site) similar to Thrillist.com Anyway we came across a spiffy wordpress plug-in from peepso.com and got all excited about about the potential. Problem is we have no knowledge about servers (dedicated, cloud or whatever) and are trying to estimate (to budget) the cost to maintain assuming 10,000 or 100,000 or even one million members and not having much luck.
We are Wall Street people and will be taking the dating company public (something we are experts at) and everyone on our team is getting (working for) stock so we will be a lean mean fighting machine with a goal to enrich our shareholders. I'll post "Mini-Facebook" topic to ferret out suggestions.
