Please don't use them for production use, not good...

All of these cheap Services are not for productive usage... but for a backup of the backup as requested I don't see any problem.

  • @foetti I wouldn't trust my data in mtwiscool's hands.

I would never trust a provider.

Then you clearly don't know much about the owner. He's a young man with some serious issues who for some reason is allowed to keep running VPS businesses by his carers. I would not trust him with any amount of data in his current situation.

If you are using a windows system, I recommend using a free cloud storage service from China, Baidu companies and 360 companies.
    baidu:http://pan.baidu.com (free 2000Gb storage)

    360:http://yunpan.360.cn (free 40TB storage)

They both support the automatic backup

Right, store it directly in China so they don't have to break into your vps.

oh yeah~~~But these free cloud storage is not supported for adults and other illegal content file storage( ^_^ )

You think you are any safer to have the data stored in US? :)

Don't get all these Sinophobic people...why do you think any government, be it China/US/UK/Iran....would care about your love letters to your girlfriend or some weird clips you are storing in your storage?

Unless you work for the CIA...then that is a different story...but then again I am sure you won't be coming here to ask questions if you work for CIA

No, I think my data is safe when it is encrypted.

Then it doesn't matter where you store them, China or US or Iran or whatsoever.

  • zhuanyi said: Then it doesn't matter where you store them, China or US or Iran or whatsoever.

True for me, but not everybody uses encryption.

  • +1 fir Crissic
Good & fast support, good quality (for one year) for the price of a cheap meal.
