  • Looks like you need to add a CC to avail the offer, otherwise a 1 week trial is offered on request.

  • Strange, I can't find anything regarding the bandwidth limits.

but it said on the register page:

**** No credit card is required for Dev and Team edition trials registered in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and India.

  • how do you find your server login especially the password?

@breton nice one, nice to see you around here again!

  • Well ...
The tiny flavor has so little disk space, 1GB...
The small is better, but 2GB of RAM. Nothing between them?
1GB RAM, 10GB disk would be nicer

it seems you can add the object storage and assign to instance :p

You need a keypair to login for the first time.

You can add volume and mount on your instance.

Anyone knows how much cost Object Store? I send an email to them 1 hour ago and until now nothing :(

  • Resource not found in datacenter

  • They use SoftLayer it seems :p

  • @TheLonely said:

I logged in using Windows, but I use OpenSSH for Windows and I generate my ssh keys and send to panel. I didnt try use the key generated by server.

Looks very similar to runabove. Did anyone figure out the bandwidth limits?

Edit: It looks like they ran out of IPs as well.

So far as I know, OpenStack doesn't show bandwidth usage so I assume they won't be monitoring it. Maybe open a suport ticket.

    I got an IP :)

Bandwidth tracking is possible (https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Neutron/Metering/Bandwidth), but not out of the box in the webinterface.

The volumes are not working for me, they're corrupted :/
Nvm was using fdisk instead of cfdisk.

  • A pretty solid network.

i was wondering the same too.. strange.. 4GB worth of servers (upto 100) with 2 floating IPs and 100GB disk space.

    • Dev edition is $39.99 per month for 4GB RAM, 4 vCPU, 100GB HDD after the initial free 12 months.

Not really. Different business model and this company has a decent background. https://www.mirantis.com/company/customer-successes/ https://www.mirantis.com/careers/
