Apparnetly your phone doesn't like COMODO ?
@0xdragon it's working here. Looks like you're using smartphone?
Thanks for confirming it works on a desktop, I was worried for a moment.
We had an issue (that we just solved about an hour ago) for the last ~24 hours that was showing an SSL redirect loop on the site, because CloudFlare's Free SSL replaced our customized SSL certificate (the one we actually purchased.) I had to wait 24 hours and for a response from CloudFlare's support before the issue was solved, but I see it's still not completely solved due to Smartphones still not being able to see the site it seems...
@0xdragon : Have you considered updating your Android Root Certificate / Chain of Trust ?
@GoodHosting:
I can only chose "First Available" in the location. Is that intended? Got a test ip for Canada?
@goodhosting it looks like you aren't providing the intermediate SSL certificates
Thanks for the information, I'll be looking further into this.
EDIT: I just checked Apache, the payload being served includes two intermediate certificates (the bundle), as well as the certificate identifying the site itself. I'm not sure what issue is being experienced here.
It makes it hard to debug, as under Windows 8.1; the certificate is automatically trusted.
As well as the latest version of Chrome for Windows Beta, automatic certificate trust.
what does raw ssd means?
We don't use SSHDs, and we don't use SSD-Cache (software or hardware.) We use only SSDs in the servers in this listing, hence "raw SSD" out of the bunch of disks. The RAID10 we build on the SAN is built on only SSDs.
I realize that was confusingly worded though.
Huh, I've never done that. How do you do that? Although, my phone's software is updated very regularly (OnePlus One).
You indeed have an issue with SSL, check this guide and install it properly, you'll be done.
https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=clients.goodhosting.co
Interesting, it shouldn't be serving our SSL whatsoever, it seems CloudFlare disabled us again, sigh.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll replace our SSL certificate since it's facing the world now.
NVM, @Mahfuz_SS_EHL got to the bottom of it.
@0xdragon how do you dare use smart phone for browsing? Web design was such a pleasant experience before those optimisation-needy bastards got browsers on them :-)
@GoodHosting great offers! Wish you luck with expanding in the "coming soon" new locations, any hints on where those might be?
what does 25 units mean ?
We plan on adding an EU and a UK location in short order, one that won't be the Netherlands (why be everyone else?)
thank you for clarification. good deals btw. openvz price for a kvm product.
25 Units is 1/4th of a CPU Core (24/7 usage)
If you have 25 CPU Units, this means you can use up to 100% of a CPU core for some time, and up to 25% of a CPU core for 24x7 of the time. We do not overcommit CPU (as a resource) as other providers do, which is why our lower plans come with less CPU cores.
That's the idea!
@Mahfuz_SS_EHL , @0xdragon ,
The issue has been solved, as CloudFlare has re-instated their coverage of our domain.
Probably best offer fot OVH Canada located VPS. And KVM instead OVZ provided by other resellers.
How can we order in Montreal ?
@GoodHosting
same question here
To request a specific location, please add it to your "Order Notes" upon checkout.
Glad that you got it sorted. But, it seems that CloudFlare has enabled their PositiveSSL Multi-Domain again. If you're Okay with this, then No Problem, of Course Just saying because as you mentioned before you were using your Purchased SSL.
By the way, why everything is on SSD ?? People like Me don't Need SSD's :-P & if you had any SATA/SAS Plans, then I could get some space more ^_^
Ordered.
Not sure what's going on but they've never replied to live chat (yesterday), and have not replied to my reply on their ticket so far since yesterday as well I hope they will reply soon...
I do apologize if we did not get to your LiveChat in a timely manor, we are currently dealing with going through and manually verifying, screening, and provisioning all the new orders from this offer posting. Please note the following excerpt from the original post (it was listed in the footnotes.)
I want to order KVM in Canada but only shows "first on available" on location menu?
Please mention the location preferred in the order notes.
@GoodHosting Can you take a little time to reply my message?
Edit:
Got it, .
