I'd say VolumeDrive might be the cheaptest, probably not the best but cheapest for sure. Havent personally used them but https://turnkeyinternet.net/colocation/ also have some cheap options.
They are the cheapest yes, but you do not get the quality of support.
Go with a slight more expensive provider like Quadranet.. You'll get bang for buck.

Totally agree with you, definitely not the best but he said "This is not for mission critical or production work, just a box for occasional use." so I assumed quality of support wasnt the first priority.

Talk to @RyanD with Colo@ - they might not be the cheapest, but we've had a good experience with them.
