    What processors are you using for your nodes? Thanks

    @yomero
    Our KVM node is using dual xeon L5420's and our OpenVZ node is being looked into for a CPU upgrade currently even though it only is using a low amount of the dual xeon 5130's. We have not had any CPU related slow downs ever.

    OpenVZ:
    15:20:13 up 134 days, 11:12, 0 users, load average: 1.34, 1.06, 0.95
    KVM:
    15:21:32 up 14 days, 14 min, 0 users, load average: 0.93, 1.49, 2.24

    Thanks for the question! :)

    A 3-day money back guarantee covers all of our services if you are not satisfied.

    @carlosg

    root@aerrantwebvps [~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync
    16384+0 records in
    16384+0 records out
    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 9.40364 s, 114 MB/s

    Is a VPS on the node your on, and has the same I/O priority as everyone else.
    Network speed can be increased by request, all servers start out at 10Mbit/s.

    Lol what?

    That's exactly what I said when I saw it.

  • It seems to be doing better now:
    16384+0 records in
    16384+0 records out
    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 15.3055 s, 70.2 MB/s
