No, I don't have a buyvm box. I'm Herb of the VPS world. (See if anyone gets that reference.)

1 x eNetSouth OpenVZ 768mb - my main box, pretty much. Webhosting and Master DNS.

2 x NordicVPS OpenVZ (1 x 128mb, 1 x 256 mb) - yeah, the yearly plans. I somehow didn't get turfed like everybody else did a few months ago. I use one of them as my slave DNS

1 x BuffaloVPS (ChicagoVPS) OpenVZ 1GB - minecraft, sits idle now... need a new use for this one

1 x Hostigation KVM 128mb - the box I use to run my personal website (http://peterkazakoff.ca). exists mainly so I can play around with FreeBSD, which is a new experience for me.

  • @dmmcintyre3 you have more free VPS's then paid VPS's xD

    1x 123systems 192MB (yearly, will probably keep)

1x 123systems 512MB (yearly, not going to renew)

    1x cripperz 64MB (yearly, keeping)

1x cripperz 128MB (yearly, not sure if I'll renew)

1x spotvps 512MB (monthly, keeping for now)

1x ipap 4GB "supervps" (monthly, getting rid of)

1x ipap 2GB "supervps" (monthly, keeping for the lulz)

I want to get a 128MB BuyVM, but their release time of new stock is TERRIBLE for Japan. =/

  • I actually don't have that many...

    1x QuickWeb 80MB Xen (running LowEndBox.com)
    1x eNetSouth 512MB VMWare (running LowEndTalk,com)
    1x BuyVM 256MB OpenVZ
    1x Virpus 512MB OpenZ
    1x AlienVPS 192MB OpenVZ

Probably more VPS that don't fit into the "low end" criteria...

10x various @ Amazon (anywhere from 614MB to 4+GB RAM)

    1x 1GB @ Softlayer

    2x 512MB @ Rackspace

...I don't think I'm very good at this game

  • @justinb -- none of those look like low end. @dmmcintyre3 specifically asked "how many LEBs do you have".

  • Woo! least I have more than Dr. Micheal (is the hospital not paying you enough? ;O).

It's Dr. Mike and it's in physics and mathematics.

    You must be new.

  • LowEndAdmin said: @justinb -- none of those look like low end. @dmmcintyre3 specifically asked "how many LEBs do you have".

    512 isn't low end? :(
Maybe I need to learn how to min/max some resource usage...

  • I don't have any VPS except my Minecraft server with 512mb or more RAM. Anyway, the definition of low end here is more price based than spec based. (sub $7/month)

  • I come back and after a month and all my old posts are gone? Anyways, 3 low end VPS so far, looking to catch up and get some more.

    1) RapidoVPS - $2.50 /month 256MB RAM
    2) KiloServe - $6.95 /month 1GB
    3) W2 Servers - No longer running...got it on special for like $24/ year

I'll probably pickup another 2 this month so I'm gonna have to go browse through LEAdmin's posts :)

I'm looking for a cheap 256MB-512MB box in France and one in Germany so if you have somebody to recommend over there, please reply.

Hehe. I think it's also the cost as well. Mind if you tell us where you can get 512MB Xen instance at RackSpace for under 7 bucks a month? :)
