Just 'like' NameCheap's facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/NameCheap?sk=app_141044522626772

Then you need to click [Current Deal] and then 'Order'

    Regular Price: $25.98?

It means the next year will be $25.98? No thanks

    Oh, and it says $1.99

  • no, it's just marketing, renewal is about $8, but for the first year you get SSL cert and some other stuff that pumps up the official price to $25

They do this every couple of months. As Alex says, there's fine print.

  • In that case, it's okay. I wish I had a facebook account which is apparently needed :S

  • Either that or just wait for someone to spam the coupon code and/or link with their own affiliate code.

That happens every couple of months as well.

NameCheap says: It is a unique code for each user, so you should not share it ;)

Are they forced? I mean, as mentioned earlier, in the next year do I have to pay over $20?!

  • after first year mailbox is like 2,5$ per year, ssl was around 9$, whois guard 6$. they are not forced u must resign not later than 3 days before expiration so it wont auto renew, i checked in the ToS.
