OpenVPN Connect Client
Hello,
Does anyone know of anywhere I can get my hand on OpenVPN Desktop Connect Client?
OpenVPN seem to have removed this version of the software from their website and replaced it with something a bit more lightweight. I have this version installed on some older machines but cannot find the installer for it.
The new version for me seems to connect but not actually tunnel any traffic through the connection.
Thanks

I might still have a version on an old Vista PC bud. If no-one else can help in the meantime, give me a nudge over the weekend when I can get to the PC and I'll see if I can dig it out.
I've been having the same issue.
I can only get traffic yo tunnel when using TCP Port 443 instead of UDP 1194
Strange, I use TCP port 443 as standard. The new client is some 2MB installer (compared to this previous client which was around 20MB) and is literally a tiny thing in the task bar.
I think I have found it here. EDIT: Scrap that, it's a specialised client for Private Tunnel.
I found a copy of the installer, found it on a very slow FTP site. Copy here.
I started using Securepoint on Windows as a standard openvpn client.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/securepoint/
FYI: http://openvpn.net/index.php/access-server/security-advisories.html
We stopped maintaining this client in 2011. I would recommend getting away from that and using the community client if you are running a community server or the Connect Client if you are running OpenVPN Access Server
The community version doesn't work for me. I don't use it for any security benefits anyway, I use it to bypass web blocks on my internet connection. (Young kids in the house (unfortunately), needs to be enabled.)
Maybe give http://www.tunxten.com/ a try then? I think they did a great job on that client. I can't stress enough that you should stay away from the Desktop Client.
Meh, that would also involve teaching the others in the house how to use a new client. Thanks for your help though, I'll look into it.
