I have 8TB Ram
Just bought a VPS.
I was supposed to get 512mb ram but I got 8TB ram instead which isn't physically possible.

But I get segmentation fault when I try to install stuff.
Yes I opened a support ticket to have the ram fixed. But why do I get segmentation faults?
Comments
Edit: Issue was resolved as soon as they fixed the ram allocation.
Another VPS o.O
The random 8TB ram allocation is a common issue with Solus and OpenVZ. It seems to occur more frequently if there happens to a high load on the server during the time of setup.
8TB Ram lol.
it's bug ?
Like like this was one of their vps's. GVH also just sent out a big "press release" email. Better get ready for the show.
It's not. GHV normally selling vps with 8 TB RAM and more!
No, it's not physically possible... yet. E7-8800's can handle up to 4TB, so it's close.
Never seen it before.
in 50 yrs, people will laugh how tiny 8tb ram is

It is a bug when the host doesn't assign vswap for that particular VPS
