HE.net DNS Limit

Has anyone noticed that the domain limit for HE DNS just dropped down from 50 to 5? Or is that just me?

    Weird. I'm 6/5 domains, and I don't really have a clue what's going on.

  • I'm 5/100...

    Just logged in: Domains 0/5

  • Domains 7/5

  • Maybe it has to do with the age of the account. I've had my he.net account since tunnelbroker.net came out years and years ago.

Looks like I'll have to switch to Cloudflare.

For reference, I've had my IPv6 Sage and DNS account for 2 years.

50 domain limit still on mine

  • I just created an account and it shows 0/50.

  • I still have my 50 domain limits.

I've lodged an email with DNS admin to find out what happened.

  • Same here still have my 50 limit. Though I'm only using 4.

I still have 50 domains as well

Just registered a new account and it's showing 0/50.

Maybe it could be based on country?

  • 1 of 50 domains here.

Not sure what the issues are on some of your sides.

Funky, some have 50, some have 100, some have 5. No clue what's happening.

Just install NSD3 on a couple of LEBs, and don't bother with HE. Their DNS feels much more of a "best effort" service ("we don't really care if it works or down") than the tunnel broker. Also while an IPv6 tunnel is something you can get by without for a few hours, if all DNS servers of your websites go away for the same period, that's much more problematic.

It's been 50 domains for awhile now, I just signed up for a new account to test it and it's still showing 50:

    Domains 0/50

dns.he.net has been rock solid for me, I have not had one instance where I could not reach the DNS servers thus my site was down, props to them for providing a great service for free.

  • Ya, still 50 for me as well. 14/50

  • Domains 5/50

Its actually back to normal all of a sudden. I'm back to 50 domains. It appears there was a mixup, as the only people commented were affected people and legacy accounts.

  • Styling issue perhaps?
