How do i check for local backups?

So i have cPanel/WHM account and the backups seem to be created on the local directory and it does not get removed.

How do i check if it is stored on the local directory and how do i remove it?

    If you goto WHM and have a look at where your backups are setup it usually has an option for backup directory, that should be where your backups are stored before they are sent elsewhere.
