Yeah, unfortunately a few bad apples ruin it for everyone.
I have LEBs from 6 providers at the moment, and among them only one doesn't allow IRC.
For me, that one is being the bad apple.
(others vary from "all allowed" to "personal client/bouncer allowed", which would be enough for my needs).
If you wish to discuss why hosts allow or don't allow IRC, please open your own thread.
We don't allow IRC because a few ruined it for everyone who use IRC responsibly.
