Dedicated hosts by the hour. A new service from OVH: https://www.runabove.com/
Looks like OVH launched a brand new service...
6 Cores, 16 GB Ram, OR 4 Cores, 28 GB Ram
240 GB SSD Disk
10 Gbps Network
Out bandwidth : $0.01/GB
"1 Compute per Host for Extreme Performance"
"$10 million investment from OVH"
Standard Anti-DDoS Protection
$0.24 / hour
The price is not LowEnd - maybe they want to attract short-term use by "big" projects? They also have a storage offer. You may need to ask for a "Launch Code" by Direct Message on their Twitter page.
I am NOT affiliated with them, just giving information.

I had also heard of a cloud service by name of RunNaked, may be they renamed it or it would be launched seperately.
Pricing seems to be comparable to @Incero instant dedis, maybe OVH doesn't want a $200/month commit like Gordon, though...
Good to see them being adventurous.
I use Amazon, but for instances with GPUs. Hopefully OVH have or will have an API to spin these up to give it that 'instant' quality. Suppose they'd also need storage of machine images for instant re-setup (I assume the "object storage" server anticipates that). I suppose them being in Europe will be a + for some.
How do you get a 'Launch code validation' ???
Want to test a #RunAbove instance ? Follow @RunAbovecom , "@RunAbovecom Hi I want to test #RunAbove cc @SatOVH" you'll get voucher
btw they are adding windows as well
I've got one of these RunAbove instances and while performance is not that bad, the pricing is ridiculous at $0.24/h for what you get.
0,019$ so 100Gig cost 1,9$ per Month and less then 24$ per Year.
Same as i would buy 2x RamNode 50gig, not so expensive but not so dam cheap
The storage looks very interesting. same cost per gig of storage as compared to S3 (which is a bare minimum requirement to even consider), but no per API call cost and bandwidth costs are 1/10th - which seems like a great incentive to try out. I wonder how geo-distributed it is and how fast the download is compared to S3.
