Centos 6 ISO issues Im told
So with my centos 6 dedi I was having issues with:
- 2-3 %wa when the server was inactive
- top command would take 10-20 seconds to load
- CPU wouldn't hyperthread
- 2-3min 1Gb DD test
- Reboot would take 15-20 min
I told the DC about this and I thought it was some kind of hardware failure. But they got back to me saying their Centos 6 image is bad. I call BS, what do you guys think.

Some dedicated server providers don't even offer CentOS 6 since its hardware support out the box is yuck.
Debian FTW!
Yup Im running that now.
Depends what kind of crap hardware they install it on, I have dozens of SuperMicro X9 motherboards running EL6 without issue
Does it run better?
Dont know waiting for the best support in the world to answer me back. server4you good thing I just use it for dev work and not clients
