i have been using the LES for my debain vos's for quite some time now, but it still uses old versions of nginx etc.
Are there any new scripts with uptodate software packages for lowendbox's?

    Try my version at https://github.com/Keith2/lowendscript

It uses the latest versions from dotdeb. Also php-fpm is used.
    Debian Squeeze only.

  • Yeah it's just a matter of using dotdeb or backport repositories.

There is actually nothing wrong with older version of Nginx however, unless you are looking for some specific feature, as the main repository would probably get faster security patches.

  • If you're using Debian Squeeze 32bit you can give my script a go, it's linked in my signature.
