@BassHost said: I just find it odd that VPS6 is refusing to answer the questions directly.

As I've mentioned in several other threads, VPS6.NET, LP's registration is available for the public to review and verify: https://app.mt.gov/cgi-bin/bes/besCertificate.cgi?action=detail&bessearch=L220436

VPS6.NET upholds a 30 Day Full Refund Guarantee, as well as a comprehensive Privacy Policy. We will NOT disclose any portion of client profiles or hosted data with ANY third party.

Details of these policies are available here:

    https://vps6.net/terms.php
    https://vps6.net/privacy.php

This is my final comment on this discussion. Our service will see extensive upgrades and expansions beginning in June, and again toward the end of the summer. These will culminate in the launch of an OnApp-based cloud service in Q4 2012 / Q1 2013.

VPS6.NET, LP will not be sold, merged, or otherwise modified in any way that will alter its ability to provide the service it advertises.

I would strongly urge anyone considering a web hosting service to carefully research performance benchmarks and customer service reviews before committing to a provider. I will leave it up to potential clients to gauge VPS6.NET's success where these are concerned.

Long and short guys is it appears there is a serial company starter on the loose who's sole purpose of starting a business is to move it on.

What tends to happen is he'll sell the business and it'll be unsustainable and then be closed down, causing its yearly signups to lose their money!

  • @vps6 I put company photo page 1 and owner this company page 1

VPS6.net LP own Alchymic own Donn Fry. This proof on page 1

You are Donn Fry, you thief, you steal many people money. But joke name Jeremy Hartnet

  • CloudxtnyHostCloudxtnyHost Member, Host Rep

@vps6net the main thing you need to clear up is are you have told others you do not know Donn Fry yet you are owned by him or are him.

In my opinion if a host is proven to be dishonest for the benefit of the members they should be removed.

  • @httpzoom one time he say server disk brake. New vps but not new vps same ip. new server new data center. he no pay server not disk brake.

I'm using an OpenVZ vps from VPS6 for my SSH tunnel/VPN purpose. It costs only $3/month. I ordered it on Apr 21, 2012. Here's its specs:

Right, that's 15 minutes of my life I will never get back....

It is absolutely obvious that is who he is beyond any doubt, and that he is avoiding any direct answers and trying to turn every answer in to self promotion.

So LET is allowing people who knowingly scam and steal money from people to advertise on the main page and have an account?

Follow in WHT footsteps and close/suspend the account and remove the 125x125

I feel like we have been here before (With UptimeVPS).

A heap of customers claiming "Its a good service, i don't think they are a scam" when myself, @Aldryic and @Francisco were all trying to point out the obvious. Then what happened, oh yes UptimeVPS went under and then we had a heap of people (The same people defending it a few weeks prior) crying that LET/LEB had let UptimeVPS steal their money.

And now we have people slagging the OP for starting this thread and sharing 100% proof that this company is owned by Don/Dan or whatever his real name is. He is going out of his way to try and save you all some hassle/money, yet you would rather stick up for somebody that has a history of robbing people.

Oh what a world we live in :P

I'm interested to see what @Chief or @KuJoe have to say about happily letting VPS6 advertise on the LEB home page now that this info is out there?

    @AnthonySmith

I posted that seconds after you, great minds aye.

Nah, VPS6 is more active here :D

  • I like how @vps6net makes a "final post" but actually doesn't address any of the concernes raised in this thread :D Makes it pretty clear that he doesn't want to address them

I find it odd you missed multiple posts where he explained that he wasn't good with English, and that he was Arabic :P

  • @beard i no want money. i want to say people this man steal me and he lie. All company he make go bad then he sell.

Sell company ok, but he sell company when server no pay and data center stop server. I lose 100$ but problem this vps take time make ready. vps stop, i need expert make new server for me. this more money.

I use vps my work. people send me photo and story about problem in Arab country. this safe than email. I change ip, very difficult tell people new ip. I cannot email them as email is watch here. I use Linode now. more money but big company no criminals.

Donn is criminal and now he more 18 years he can go jail for criminal. Before he not 18, he no go jail.

I'll have to review all of the research here. I did a search for Dann/Donn on WHT without any luck, can somebody point me to what he actually did that was illegal?

@AnthonySmith said: So LET is allowing people who knowingly scam and steal money from people to advertise on the main page and have an account?

    LET != LEB.

@AnthonySmith said: Follow in WHT footsteps and close/suspend the account and remove the 125x125

Contrary to popular belief, nobody on here or LEB bans people without reason or at the request of the community. I'm sure that the LET staff will do their research just like the LEB staff will and only then will we take action if we feel it is necessary. We don't just ban people and then find out what to ban them for.

Yeah, It was solely LEA decision that he won't post Dann Fry new companies/offers anymore - it was publicly stated somewhere at LEB. LEA was among first here who noticed what Dann is doing and he decided that he don't want to support his misdeeds at LEB anymore (LET wasn't established community used by host to promote themself that time yet).

@concernednetizen said: Sell company ok, but he sell company when server no pay and data center stop server. I lose 100$ but problem this vps take time make ready.

    This. Continuative.
(What @concernednetizen want to say here is that it's nothing wrong with selling established companies however Dann Fry repetitiously (ab)use pages like LET/WHT to lure customers into pre-paid relationship with him, then vps nodes usually dissapear and then after some time of silence and ignorance new, usually anonymous, owner appear with "It's not my fault for money/data loss, old owner did that". And as there isn't only one lonely case but repetitious process where he use fake names (Alan Jones, Omar Sing, David Krause...) this can be considered as organized scam where customers always get the short end.)

I wasn't able to find any VPS6 offers listed on LEB, can somebody point me to one?

How is this relevant with most of written in this thread? Especially as you know the answer but instead of simply correcting one less informed poster expressed opinion you want to prove.. what?

    image

I saw some random remark by someone about advertising VPS6 at LE* (LEB/LET it makes no real difference for argument here) page but is this all what interest you here? :) By my knowledge unlike some Dann Fry previous reincarnations his newest known VPS6 didn't have chance to be featured at LEB yet, so far he use only LET for promotions.

  • AldryicAldryic Member

@Spirit - @KuJoe is LEB staff, not LET :P There's not really anything he can do on the LET side, so I imagine he was doing some research on the blog postings. No need to jump the guy for investigating further :3

  • KuJoeKuJoe Member, Host Rep
    edited May 2012

@Spirit it is relevant because 2 people asked why they were allowed on LEB. I don't see them on LEB so I might be missing something. My goal was to set the LEB post as hidden while I investigate but I still don't see it. So far all of my questions about VPS6 have gone unanswered.

I'm not trying to prove anything. I'm simply investigating something at the requests of the members of this community which I am not even required to do but chose to do.
