Need a free VPS trial to play with

I am new to the virtual machines. I wanna learn something by tutorials before actually moving my sites to VPS. Any VPS trails, for a week aur 15 days, with atleast 512 MB ram, 5GB disk space. OpenVZ or KVM.

  • Just pay for one month. You can get this for 2-3$. You wont get something for free.

    Go look at FreeVPS.us lol

  • Sign up for digitalocean and search for some free $5-$20 credits. Should be enough for testing stuffs.

FreeVPS.us, Digital Ocean credits, and Host1Free are things you could go for.

Host1Free has 128MB's of RAM, but how much do you really need for testing, or are you running apps that require a lot of RAM?

And how much does FreeVPS give in RAM?

    EDIT: Nevermind, found out...

  • any working digital ocean code?

Seems kinda odd, that for someone "new to virtual machines" you'd know what spec's you're looking for.

I kinda thought the same thing. :O

But it sounds kinda normal too, as he might have some sort of skill that might require the use of a VPS, or something...

That requires a credit card to be entered.

I certainly asked this for test security configuration. That is suggested in my previous question by many of you. I have tested the LAMP but not other settings.

Assuming you could pass MaxMind, we wouldn't mind offering you a free (up to Ci7) to work with for a few months (say, first quarter free?)

Either PM me or come on LiveChat to discuss it. I've PMed you a code to make sure you're the only one that jumps on the offer :).
