TommehMTommehM Member

is it normal for the server memory to display 925MB (on a 48GB server) after installing solusvm w/ xen?

    Yes, this is the Dom0 memory (your hypervisor). All other memory is then available for DomU's (VPS's). You can set this memory in your /etc/grub.conf under the kernel option with these:

    dom0_mem=2048M,max:2048M

    Thanks :)

    Note that you will maybe need to increase that when node get crowded, also assign fixed cpu cores to your host node. You will loose a little bit on VM density but you will have better performance.
