Nitrous.IO - Free VM Hosted By Amazon + Online IDE
I just found this site and thought you guys might like it. They have an online IDE for development and give you shell access to a vm hosted by ec2. Its not useful for much other than development or running small scripts (i just setup a server monitor) but hey its free.

I believe they shut down the lxc container after a period of inactive from the ide on free accounts.
At least it makes a bit more sense than some of the other so called developer tools that I have seen lately.

http://www.divshot.com/pricing - lol they adjusted their pricing since no one wanted to pay $30/mo. to play with a BootStrap IDE editor
and many others.
I think that in a world where most original ideas have been over-copied a long time ago, the easiest way for developers to make a quick buck is to provide tools for other developer wannabees.
I guess my server status script isnt going to work since they shut it down. Oh well it was fun experimenting with lol. I would never use it as a primary IDE, nothing beats good old Sublime Text and ubuntu terminal.
I love Sublime Text. I bought a copy + the FTP/SFTP module for it.
I never liked the FTP module. I'm using Notepad++ including the FTP module and I just miss a simple GUI in Sublime.
It's great. I used to use vim but my life has been so much easier after i switched. And i love the slick ui
I do miss Notepad++. Used to use it when i was using windows for dev couple years ago and it was perfect. I use git to push my code so i dont need the FTP client. I heard there was a linux port of Notepad++ but i wonder if its as good as the win version
