    EDIS

  • They all seem to start at 512MB+ from http://www.exoticvps.com

    You could try asking:
    http://vds6.net/ru46/
    http://www.eserver.eu/vds/ru/

  • EDIS won't have their very small VPSes any longer. Still they have exotic locations for good prices, but I guess the good times are over, they don't need to sell for so cheap any longer (or they can't because of limited ip space).

select the AMD processor or the Xeon E5-2620v2 @ 2.1 GHz, it will allow you to choose 64-128MB ram plans

Cheapest (non OVZ) - http://www.eserver.eu/vds/ru/ - Even cheaper than many Russian local only providers, but they not very good, straightforward sigh up process with asking for fill up passport data and reinstalls only manual by opening ticket

    Where?

OK, thats new seems like 128/256MB got removed at edis WTF.

  • http://www.hostkey.ru/ 100RUB/mo 512Mb KVM
    http://infobox.ru/vps/linux/ 99RUB/mo 256Mb Virtuozzo
    100RUB == ~2.82$

These and many other companies require passport copy submission before the purchase, especially if you are paying with cc or paypal, and will probably reject customers from overseas with no russian passport data. Cheap 2-3$ and russia do not mix together, if you are not a russian citizen and not prepared to provide passport copy over the internet.
I personally would rather pay extra but save myself from identity theft.

Little off topic, but what portspeed are the russia and ukrainian vds6.net vps?

@VDS6 100% correct, low prices in Rubles has a other side, better find some non Russian reseller, its more easy to operate, than buy direct from Russia.

100mbps in Russia and 100mbps in Ukraine. Ukraine has better connectivity and a bit faster speeds. Nobody should expect fast speeds on Eastern europian markets because there simply no level3, tinet, cogent and other players of bandwidth transit, so speeds are generally slow. You should never purchase russian and ukrainian vds for global connectivity needs. Eastern european markets are closed markets with good bandwidth and connectivity only within the region.

How about lets say VPN purposes. Sure I understand it wouldnt be the fastest VPN, but it would get the job done, would it not?

Ukraine would be a better solution than Russia for vpn. It's a bit faster as it's closer to Europe.

Ukraine is not politically stable at the moment :D
If @trexos is considering other countries in the region, absolutely pick Estonia.
https://www.torqhost.com/ has universally positive reviews around here.
    Also it's only about 18ms from MSK-IX.

from their english website it costs 9.50€/month (http://www.hostkey.com/vps/)

from their russian website it costs 100RUB - 2€ / month (http://www.hostkey.ru/vps), and

After ordering, you will be required to send to [email protected] scan any document proving your identity (passport, military ID, driver's license) in order to avoid violations of the Communications Act and the Federal Law 152. (In order for legal entities) [google translator]
