Online.net experience

Hello, does anyone have a server from online.net which has 2x2TB, 2x3TB or 2x600GB SAS disk setup? I'm looking to find out the I/O performance of these disks have so if someone could produce a I/O or dd test for me I would appreaciate it. :)

  • Hello, we did had sas server from them , i did made experiences in RAID 0 and 1 and belive me the results was not what i expected, in rest they are ok, but sugestion is to take more hdd like 4 try raid10 and see the difference, me i was thinking if i have raid zero on SAS i get faster response for my tests, but the difference was not that big and we droped the server.

  • Do you know if the server come in RAID1 by default?
