You would need a lot more expensive provider if you need true 100% uptime.

Quickpacket has strong network. NO doubt .
But if you ever need support its only available during american business hours. Though technically you don't need their support because its completely unmanaged.

  • i dont have experienced with quickpacket but when i use datashack they have fast support, stable network but network peering isnt too good since they use cogent

  • Sorry to hijack this post, but what about Volumedrive? Are they any good?

And WSI and Joe's Data Center :)

  • I heard good things about dacentec also.

  • i agree with @tuguhost datashack peer wasn't very good, however the network was up to 1Gbps even they said it was 100Mbps on their websites. maybe should try qps for next time

  • I've tried datashack, dacentec and quickpacket and I would say quickpacket has the best network in my opinion.

  • Aside from one instance of brief (scheduled) maintenance, I've had solid uptime on my two dedicated servers from Datashack. I haven't had any networking related issues.

  • i would like to try qps sometime in the future

    For 100% uptime - none.

On the other side, I am quick packet's customer for around 1, maybe even 1.5 years now. I contacted their support 2 times. I was not impressed with it. However they get the things done and their services just work. I have a server in production from them, it is alright, especially for the price.

Had relatively bad experience with datashak (nothing too big, though).

Thank you Alex for your business.

I see a few tickets about DDoS (both incoming and outgoing). We don't offer DDoS protection or any kind of filtering, so if those are your complaints, I understand. We simply cannot offer DDoS protection or filtering services at the prices we charge for the low-end servers. If you have specific complaints please PM me and I'd be happy to review those with you to see if there was something we can do better.
